Taken during Art in All of Us (www.artinallofus.org) activities last month in the island of St Kitts. The AiA Awareness Program (http://www.artinallofus.org/about-us/programs.html) introduces multicultural exchanges and knowledge during visits into schools by introducing photographic and other interactive cultural activities. One child wanted to express the idea of being made out of sand and being happy with it. He made the composition…. I’m not 100% sure what’s going on in this picture, but I have no doubt that spending his day in the house of a creepy old man wasn’t exactly the way this kid hoped things would turn out. There’s a story here, I’m just not exactly sure what it is.
