This photo was taken in Antelope Canyon, which is in northern Arizona, USA. Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon, carved out of sandstone by monsoon rains. The rays of the sun only enter the canyon during certain times of the year, and only in the middle of the day. Rays like these are uncommon, and are best seen on a windy day. This was such an incredible gift from God. It reminds me of the fact that I couldn’t make art at all if it were not for His gifts: the beauty of the world, light, and the passion and desire on my part. To make this image, I traveled hundreds of miles from home, to a place that I had longed to visit for years, at a time of the year when I felt I would see rays. I had gone through the entire canyon, and it seemed as if when I got to a place where there was a ray, it had already largely faded. I was disheartened, and as at the entrance when I saw a group of people, and a photographer with a tripod set up. I turned around to see what he was photographing, and this is what I saw! The sand in the air that day wrecked two camera bodies, but it was SOOO worth it! This is the photo that has attracted the most attention to my work and also my all-time favorite. It is hard to find a scene that inspires me like this one, but I hope someday my photography in general will measure up to this one photo.

A burnt out car wreck I found in a local forest… and I was supposed to be looking for nice things to photograph! Humanity is destroying the Earth and killing its soul with its greed and disrepect… but if history is any indication Mother Earth will fight back and eventually out live us all. Our buildings will crumble, our cars rust and our bodies turn to dust…and the scars we have left will heal.

A macro of a the top of a garbage can,all rusty… :)) The whole is almost 2 inches wide,I guess they have to do it that way so the racoons can’t open the top of the can…I think you have to put your fingers in the whole to lift up the top…. :))...not sure though…

Firstly you compose your image using the medium format camera (in my case i have used a mamiya c33) then you actually take the picture using a digital camera (here i use my pentax K10) of what is in the viewfinder of the old camera.

I was holding it with my hands and I do remember perfectly that in a weird moment I turn my head back and the crow was sleeping. ...yes, this is my FIRST painting I ever did!!!! / Zombie came home & gave me a bag full of painting materials, long time ago… Brushes, canvases, acrylics, water containers things that I’ve never seen in my life!!!! So I took the one canvas and the brushes and I started to paint for the first time in my life. / Do you want to know how many hours I was painting this? 8 hours!!!!!! My neck was pain & the result was making me so pleased and happy – I wanted to paint more! / It’s still my favourite painting. It means everything to me and really owe it to Zombie. The Black Queen’s Bishop (The Shaman) / Artist: Simon Sherry / Biography: Danny Descendants of an ancient race, the Shaman have links to the old ways, ways observed before man was the dominant species of the world. The shaman is spiritual overlord of the army and is answerable only to the king. Legend has it the ancestors of the king tricked the shaman – even then a dying breed- to serve him and in doing so bound their loyalty to all kings that followed for all time. / Shaman have become an intricate link in the chain that have evolved into the Armies of the Black Spear and it’s development into the warrior nation it has now become. The Shaman through majik and selective breeding have created the Black Knights, Monoliths, Basilisk and Pawn Spawn that take to the battlefield. The Shaman does not regret or harbor resentment for things past and is totally loyal to the king and the betterment of the Army of the Black Spear.
