Poulnabrone dolmen is a 5,000 year old portal tomb in the limestone Burren area of County Clare, Ireland. The dolmen consists of a massive flat capstone supported on several upright pillars, and would originally have been covered by a mound of earth. Archeological excavations found several traces of human remains at the burial site, which now stands as a stark reminder of an ancient civilisation. Looking back through the mists of time, who knows what ancient religious rites took place at this barren and windswept scene?

Angled shot taken inside the Anglican Cathedral in Liverpool. Really enjoy finding new angles and views within this building and its a great place to practice my photography. / . / Spent a lot of time with the position and cropping of this image to produce the desired look. / . / Your comments always help. / . / ste / . / Location: The Lady Chapel / . / The first part of the Cathedral to be completed and consecrated for worship was the Lady Chapel. The style of this lovely Chapel, which stands at the far south east corner of the Cathedral, is more elaborate than the main body of the Cathedral in a way which reflects its date and the influence of G F Bodley who was, at that time, working with the Cathedral architect.

This image is replacing my previous post of “For Whom The Bell Tolls”... There were a couple things I didn’t like about the last image and I have since corrected them in this version. / / This is St. Pauls Church in Habour Grace. The church was built in 1835. I took this shot at midday with a beautiful blue sky and white fluffy clouds but I really wanted to attempt to make it more of a darker, gothic image. Built around 1815 this church in the hills of Chimayo, New Mexico, is considered a masterpiece of colonial folk art and architecture and has been deemed a National Historic Landmark. Famed for its miraculous cross and the healing powers of the soil, the Prayer Room is filled with candles, cards & crude hand made shrines as well as crutches and braces testifying to miracles. Directly across the road they sell the best chili powder money can buy. /

I redid this for an organization that wants to use it for fund raising…I like this version better! :) Thanks for viewing! (STORY BEHIND THIS) My son has Eosinophilic Enteropathy. Translation: “His body thinks food is a parasite!”. When he eats he gets sick. At this point, there are NO foods allowed in his diet. His body has managed to reject them all! He is six years old. Imagine your children, or your own childhood without cookies, birthday cake, icecream, or halloween candy!? That is his life. Everyday, he watches people eat..and wonders why he has to be different! He says “I hate my body!”. YET – he is still your typical little boy. LOVES sports, rough housing and just being a kid.He got his feeding tube put in about 6 months ago! This is because his formula is his MAIN source of nutrition – and he wasn’t drinking it. IT’S NASTY! So, the tube is reassurance that he is getting nutrition! :) Please view APFED.org for more information. You can donate to research too! There is currently NO CURE for this! I want that MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!! To give him a TREAT! Thank you!
