  • The dunes of aberdeen in 2007, they are a place of special interest and research as these dunes shift. However donald trump has seen to it that they will be ruined all for the cause of a golf course. I was very sad to hear he got the go ahead. The only treatment here was black and white.

  • “Paws” or “Pause”....Either way you spell it, in this capture which is 2 of 3 in a series, P.J. shows his silly side as he wakes up long enough to “paw” at the camera. “AS IS” and was taken with my Kodak Easy Share ZD710 Digital camera. “Dreaming Among the Ferns” / Featured by “For the Love of Cats” group here: / “Paws Among the Ferns” /

  • A black and white pastel on black acid free paper of the beautiful, cascading Horseshoe Waterfalls, Australia. What delight we felt when we first discovered this. It was located at the end of our street where we used to live and was only a 5 minute walk, that took us to a peaceful place where we could forget the world for a while. It is still only a 10 minute drive away. Waterfalls are usually geological formations resulting from water, often in the form of a stream flowing over an erosion-resistant rock that forms a nickpoint or sudden break in elevation. Whatever the description waterfalls are a natural wonder and there are some breathtaking ones all over the world. The waterfall drops its sparkling veil / covering its rock face leaving slippery trails / twinkling drops of water bursting in the light / its beauty never ending even at night! • This painting is watercolour on paper. The Royal Art Society’s next exhibition is a challenge. To do a painting incorporating food and/or drink with the landscape. I chose to use the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a background, looking out of a window. And I painted my favourite subjects, apples and silver on a check tablecloth. Thank you all so very much for all the kind comments, faves and watches. I really appreciate these. • With this image I cut out these gorgeous flowers and added cloud brushes in different shades of blue. I then added a leaf swirl with a photoshop brush and added some style to it. For the finishing touches, I sharpened the image and cloned some spots to create darker shades. /
