Drawn in 2007. Age 20. This here is my late best friend Morris, who I adored, loved and cherished. Sadly he passed away in 2007 so I drew him as I remembered him best… / As a beautiful, young and healthy kitten. Childhood can be difficult time for many of us and through a number of my recent writngs and drawings i’ve tried to capture my feelings as a child; feelings of emptiness and lonliness. But Morris was always there. He was always there to offer his warm comfort. He was there when no one else was… / He is the most pleasant memory of my childhood and i feel a little less whole without him. I miss him dearly… but he will always remain loved and never will he be forgotton. Bless his little paws. The original of this drawing belongs to a very dear friend of mine, who I miss very much. I hope he is well… Though I am confident he is looking after Morris, just as much as Morris is looking after him.

This is our new pup Phoebe Roo ( she’s like a kangaroo) she’s an Italian greyhound, only 13 weeks now. I have a pic of my other dog Millie on here so to be fair I took one of phoebe too.She has this one ear that is always sticking up. She is so fast now we cant even catch her, she sure is stirring up the house, we just love her to pieces !!

It’s funny, the paintings you don’t think will be popular, are the ones that receive the most interest sometimes. This is Hope my Lurcher, on a snowy febuary day in 2007, she wasn’t that keen on the weather but did oblige me with this quirky shot. I have another Lurcher called Grace as well as Rubicon and Renegade the Ferrets who complete the team, Hope has the nose for finding quarry and Grace has the speed to fill my freezer. Here are the two dogs playing in the snow.

I am a cat lover and this is my own version of a “quilt”, consisting 300 cats, each with their own expressions and styles. At the very beginning, my idea was to create a tessellating pattern of the head of a cat (similar to what M.C. Escher did in some of his works). I then thought, instead of making the cats look all the same and monotonous, why not making them fun to look at?
