This painting was created with interior house paint on canvas / H26” x W50” / Black Matte Gallery Frame / 2007 / Original – 1800.00 / ON SALE NOW! 1000.00 “Faceless,” is dedicated to all the woman and girls who suffer injustices all over the world, and remain faceless to world. Although I created this image in 2007, and had titled it “Girls,” I didn’t fully realize what it meant until just this week. In the news, a husband kills his wife, by placing a plastic bag over her head, hangs her, and flees with the three children after countless please for help to local authorities. A father is convicted of keeping his daughter locked up as a sex slave for 24 years. Daughter now 42. Many females are enslaved, murdered, raped, tortured all over the world, and many more will remain faceless to us. Stop, think, and listen.

Below is a family I sponser.. for three years I have assisted Tenzin and her mother Lhamu … she also has 2 other daughters.. they came over the mountains on foot to Dharmsala. I know many Tibetans and Chinese so I will not say the Chinese.. it is like say the Americans.. I only know that Governments do not represent the heart of a total people. We are celebrating our freedom with Obama.. and of Unity.. but let us remember.. here in our Country of America.. we stole.. like the Chinese seem to be doing to the Tibetans.. THE ENTIRE COUNTY OF AMERICA FROM A PEOPLES THAT NOW ARE REDUCED TO RESERVATIONS…. / So I do not want to be quick to judge the time and place for pointing fingers.. Let us say that I love my Tibeten friends and I love my Chinese friends too.. So.. The Power of One.. crosses to The Power of our Hearts for the fobiels of MAN.. PEACE ON EARTH.

Three seagulls having a leisurely chat at Mornington late in the afternoon. This was the first time I had been to Mornington since I was kid. I always flashbacks of a pier down on the coast as a child and until now had never realised where it was. It looked so much smaller than I remembered it to be… Processed in Adobe Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS. Taken with my Canon 40D and 10-22mm wide angle lens. Featured in the Piers and Jettis Group on the 28th of March 2009

We seem to be in the middle of everything. Everything is colored. But in this case, in this work, the Sanctum, an imaginary sanctum is black and white, with a few, very few, medium grays.
