This was one of those freak photos, straight off my camera, the only thing i changed was the white balance and the original was in color!!!... i walked straight past this spot on the walking track and my friend pulled me up!!! Spider webs were every where, there was late afternoon fog that had nt lifted, sun was perfect, dead trees, it was all there!! 30 mins later when we walked past, the sun was too low and the fog had lifted and the web could hardly be seen!!! freaky…......right place…......right time…....hahahaha…

“Listen a hundred times; ponder a thousand times; speak once.” / - TURKISH PROVERB My son Kane had no idea I was photographing him at this time…He was just wondering sweetly along a path in a local parkland area when suddenly he stopped and leaned on the fence. I honestly could not believe what I was seeing through my viewfinder when he did it. Then when I saw the photograph it just blew me away. Kane is 3 years old in this photograph. This is my all time favourite photograph I’ve taken with my DSLR to date. Played with the colour version in photoshop and am very pleased with the outcome. Hate can be shown in various ways and do so all the time. The only way we can stop all the hatred going on I think is to show/help people to be more open minded. Nowdays nothing is longer “new” so the only reason alone why people still has to be such ignorant fools is that they don’t know any better. / This is my take on one way hatred often is shown, on somebody different. To be different suppose to be a good thing. To stand out from the “normal” crowd and mainstream living. Yet so many people is neglected and looked down upon by the very same reason. / To stand out is to be strong. To dare go against the modern society we have today and pursuit his/her way of living. This can be many many ways, gender, skin color, sexuality, dressing, talking etc etc, the list can be made into all eternity. Miss Lizzz walking down a path leading from an abandoned quarry near London, Ontario. June 2009. I don’t often do long shots like this as I prefer to have the beautiful women I am lucky enough to capture up close, but the trees framed her very well. At 8:25pm, it was really beyond useful light for hand held amongst all these trees. The sun was now on the horizon and behind clouds. The Path, 2009 was 1/80th sec, ISO 800, f4.0.

Fleabane-Erigeron philadelphicus Plant: Soft-hairy biennial or perennial 15-90 cm tall, from rootstock and runners. Leaves: Blunt-toothed to lobed, 5-15cm long; lower leaves short-stalked, stgem leaves stalkless and calsping. Flowerheads: Orange-yellow, 5-10 cm across, with 10-20 golden yellow strap-like florets around a dark purple to brown, 1,2-2 cm wide hemisphere or cone of tubular forets; 1 to few flowerheads. Blooms: June to Sept. Fruits: Seed-like achenes Habitat: Open often disturbed sights Distribution: Central North America; naturalized from Newfounland to B.C. to Mexico.
