Reflections in the dark. A water droplet on the petal of an orchid. I like how moody, almost ‘sexy’ this picture has turned out :D I’m not used to doing black and white photography, so this was such a pleasant surprise for me! in S/C had to pop down to my parents to keep the fire going as they were out for the day and what did I spy sitting on the window ledge – a lovely Orchid which I adore and manage to kill not on purpose you understand, so took advantage of the situation (which was torrential rain outside and waiting for the fire to spark again) and using the window as my backdrop I took a few shots, it was horribly grey obviously outside which made light but not too bright!
