The original photograph was of a dozen roses. After painstakingly removing all but the single rose in Photoshop, I applied several gradients and filters to achieve this final effect. So I drew a horse on taupe coloured paper using coloured pencils, black fineliner pen and metallic pencils. I added some celtic ornamentation and jousting armour. The final effect was created in photoshop to resemble the ‘Paisley Pattern’ style and look.
