  • Pay More Careful Attention
    by Ruth Palmer

    US$4.13–US$110.20

Hebrews 2:1 We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. and Hebrews 3:12 & 13 See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. /

  • “Coming Down From Black Mountain” is a signed, original, oil painting. / Painted on artist stretched canvas with wrapped/stapled edges painted. This allows for the hanging of the painting without framing. / All of my paintings are sprayed with a final professional artist protective varnish. The romance of the West, the Cowboy and Horses is a subject I always return to. I live both in Colorado and in Nevada, so I have an endless supply of personal photography that I draw from for my paintings. As with all of my artwork , my initials are on the front with full signature, title and date on back. / Thank you for viewing my art. / VIEW mygallery / View susan’szazzle

  • Her Slow Disappearance
    by hatefueled

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Ref / with special permission from model and photographer pluschkind I bumped into this fantastic image while browsing the photography on deviant art and the photographer/model was happy to let me try my hand at drawing it. / As you can see though, I ended up painting it. oils on watercolour paper. I’ve never tried that before but i had no black watercolour paint so I thought, why not!? So all I used was black oils and turpentine to get the greys, like with watercolours. / The way the white cuts up the image reminded me of an image we’d looked at in my visual culture class, the artist had digitally erased lines through the person to create white tribal markings. this erasure gave me the idea for the title of this piece. This Portrait is available in my 2009 calendar!

  • oil and acrylic on canvas board. frame size prints will be available soon

  • First Tree
    by Carrie Glenn

    US$24.99

This is a shirt design featuring my original acrylic work named “First Tree”, This is truly the first tree I ever painted, the need to paint and create was something brewing so strongly inside I had to do something about it. Yet my resources were very limited, I grabbed the only paint I had any access to, a can of my father’s black spray paint, I sprayed it into the lid of the can and used the only paintbrush I owned a cheep nylon brush from a water color kit and created. I then finished my work with the only two pastels I owned brown and black. / Necessity is the mother of invention, or maybe it’s that there is more than one way to skin a cat. (Sorry cat lovers) At any rate I grew up in a home with very few luxuries but I did have a passion to create, always, I had to feed the creativity. / So this is a very special piece to me and I hope to you as well.
