  • This is a shot of Grand Central Terminal in New York City taken at 7am, just before rush hour. I like this shot because it has a combination of people standing still and people in motion. I think it gives a good sense of the start of the early morning commute. The shot was converted from color to black & white and given a subtle tone. Not much else was done to the image.

  • Soho, NYC

  • This is not her real name; but given to her by me for the striking resemblance to the Mona Lisa. I think it her enigmatic expression but the more I look at it the more the they look alike. However there is a sad tale behind this image as the walking sticks in the background hint at; this lady was homeless in Time Square, NYC and had a broken leg just to add to her troubles. This was not posed, but I saw her look up at someone and I took one frame and this is it. / It makes one wonder why a beautiful young woman ends up homeless in the most wealth nation on the planet and so much sadder because of that. _______ Taken with Canon 5D/ 24-70 mm at f2.8

  • public domain image from library of congress I colored and manipulated a bit, added some snow, etc….. :) Hope you like it! Claudia
