These make up the barrier at the top of the Empire State Building. As everyone looks down, I looked up and saw this. The view of the city was almost as interesting.

NY City
B&W shot from the top of the Empire State, in 2007.
Taken from Top of the Rock, New York City this shot includes the Empire State Building, the Financial District of Manhattan, Statten Island and across the Hudson River to Jersey City. If you look closely, can you spot the Statue of Liberty? Somewhat out my normal comfort zone I’m experimenting in various after shot treatments. Please feel free to leave positive or negative feedback so I can get an overall idea on what others think.

this shot was taken in between downpours on a misty fall day and fortunately, there was no one around. Normally this area is crowded with people, I definitely caught a break for sure. Tmax 100/ Tmax developer / 1 minute exposure
