Sales of this Design? – 9 sales so far :) / ‘Asia Series’ card by Karin Taylor A more serious piece this time. A painting inspired by the art form of the Geisha. Her discipline and strength I admire. I have used ink, acrylic, charcoal and pastels to create Geisha Girl. The original painting is no longer available, but so glad she can come to you in the form of a greeting card. This is a shot of my mums hands rehearsing for a gig – she (and my dad – who’s a violinist / Scottish fiddler) still play and perform.his image 50% of money raised from the sale of this image will be donated to Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders). What do you get when you put my bullet belt, my shecter, me in cheetah stilettos and fishnet and a 10 second timer? you get this motha licker / (haha, old gregg reference) like the common “sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll” motto, i’ve put my interpritation on it. sex (the fishnets and stilettos) drugs (bullet belt) rock n’ roll (guitar) / now for the whole drugs thing, its a common thing among rock stars to be druggies or alcoholics, and the music scene i’m most into is the punk/ska scene, with one of the trademarks being the bullet belt (and my zebra guitar strap fits in nicely with it)

I wanted to put it up because it really makes me smile and feel happy at the sheer lack on inhibition some children have – this is Abe being a conductor and singing his heart out – totally nuts!!!!!
