  • This artwork I created last night when the Aria’s was on – it a little bit music – a little bit magic. I call it my Aria Doodle.

  • When I saw this horse, my jaw dropped and I fell in love. / I don’t often go gar-gar about an animal, but to me this was a Magic Moment. / Also, I don’t often see a horse with it’s tail touching the ground or a main like this one. / ( taken on my last trip to King Island.) I just thought I would let you all know that, the horse in question is a / pure bred Connemarra Pony, and is the only Pure Black of this breed in Australia. This specific horse is 16 years old and one hell of a jumper. Feel free to talk to the owner if you want, as she said she would love to talk about him to anyone. I think she is proud of him. ( not much ) / Geraldine Davis on King Island Australia 03 64 621260. She isn’t a relation, but she has the main Motel & ‘A’Frames where we stay when we go to King Island.

  • Black and white landscape early morning in swamp.

  • I was asked to draw a swan for a good friend of mine and for three days at work I was consumed with the idea of a swan girl. Each day I drew one of these swan girls and each one appeared distinct from the other and seemed to possess its own sentiment. This swan girl reminds me of the irish fairytale/legend, The Children of Lir, in which a stepmother, jealous of the childrens love for one another were changed into swans for 900 years. When finally the spell was broken the swans were transformed into withered old people. / Whether the children enjoyed their time as swans I’m not sure, but loosing childhood seems tragic, hence the rather sad swan girl.

  • “A Good Day to You! Going to work? Have a pleasant trip!” Digital Airbrush Painting. / July 2008

  • On Zazzle / On DeviantART Won a Today’s Best Award on Zazzle (second page, bottom row) Closeup of a picture I’m workng on – I liked this bit on its own, and I wanted to show a closeup on the details anyway. Very Sandman and Neil Gaiman inspired (specifically, the Endless – Mostly Death, but also Dream, Destiny and Desire), but not actually OF them. Some personal stuff in there – some emotional imagery, some pretty details that mean nothing. / The pain of caring and protecting something beautiful that feeds on you and hurts you. The paleness of being only a shadow compared to another’s light and glory. The power of darkness and being unknown, and the restraint possessed and never seen. And I just had a completely different idea for the background… Anyway, the full picture’s up to fours hours at the moment (and hasn’t been touched for awhile…), this bit… was maybe two hours. • The Cave of Charish … long hidden … burned into my memory … the dark corridors of stone … alive and yet not alive …. the mystery it holds … the Stone and it’s guardian … yes all burned into my memory ... the Emotans have contacted me .. my friend is long overdue .. they are worried that he has become lost and feel guilty that they have told him the story … I have reassured them that he already knew .. they were grateful … grateful I guess that the guilt lies not within them but me … although at least I had warned him not to accept the help offered .. the Emotans do not know of the Stone Keeper … I did not tell them .. I could not tell them … I hold no hope … my friend should have been back sipping tea and swaping stories with me by now … no hope … what is worse is there was nothing I could do to have changed anything .. if I had not told him the Emotans surely would and at least I was able to warn him …. it is time now for me to put aside these thoughts but before I do I will add his name to the book of memories … good bye my friend … This is a 3rd generation collaboration with syd baker ... • Cereus bloom. (B&W) / QUEEN OF THE NIGHT I stayed up all night to capture this magical evening event!! I took a lot of pictures… :) Moon gardens, so named because of their glow-in-the-dark soft-hued flowers and plants with variegated foliage, have a life of their own. Shimmering in the glow of the rising moon, they release their sensuous scents into the night. Pale moths nibble on nocturnal blooms, fireflies dazzle and nightingales delight. The true flowers of the night are those that open only when darkness falls. For drama, nothing quite compares to the spectacle of the awakening of the night-blooming cereus. This ragged, sinuous cactus clambers up palm trees and fences with long, prickly, tangled limbs studded with huge closed buds. When dusk falls, the unsightly blossoms explode into splendid, foot-long flowers that set the night sky ablaze with their white fireworks. The plant well deserves its familiar name of Queen of the Night. WATCH this magical bloom appear: NightBloomingCereus By: / Terri~Lynn / 2009

  • Crazy nights, crazy city

  • March .. The dark witch cast her spells

  • I will be painting a sunset for a friend’s birthday soon so I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to paint so did this on Canson 300 gsm watercolour paper and was happy with the result. 30cm x 20cm. I will have to transfer painting onto large canvas and paint in acrylic but may do one more before I choose. Golden Sunset At the end of the day the light grows small / The dark takes over the ruler of all… / The shadows dance enjoying the time / day mingles with night the golden rays shine. Linda
