Baby rhino running rings around it’s mum and dad. It was so funny; looked like a puppy running up and down the hill, over to us and back to his parents then back to us again. Neowng! Here he is again – he’s skipped the ditch / A collaboration between Sam Cole-Surjan and I. Sam took the bush shot in Tolmey, near Mansfield Australia. I played with it and made The Yellow Dirt Road Then I added young Skippy here (sounds alot easier than it was). Hey! That’s my blood! Looked out of the window yesterday evening – thought the sky showed some promise – so tootled off to Black Rock, near Barwon Heads. Wasn’t disappointed.

Chinese Red Fan Girl stands before a warm glowing screen, patiently waiting for her little friend from Japan, ‘Little Blue Kimono’ to arrive. Chinese Red Fan Girl wears a pair of geta on her tootsies, a gift from ‘Little Blue’ The kanji symbols in the background on the screen translate into ‘One’s Dearest Wish’

This was an interpretation of the lyrics to the 1920’s Louis Armstrong song, Black and Blue. Essentially it is about racism and division. The little girl is looking at what she will probably never obtain. / It is a mixture of watercolour, ink, pen and collage.

Yet another black and white from my book “Snow Man is My Friend.” I post it only because I haven’t had time lately (and have been much to lazy) to do anything new. Still, it’s a pretty nice little drawing, no?

My Little Ninja…..was thinking about using him as a template for loads of different designs, like how most vinyl toys have plain versions so you can do your own designs. Would be cool if i could actually get this made into a vinyl toy!!! hmmm….wonder if there is a do it ur self vinyl toy maker out there???
