  • In My Shadow
    by Naomi Frost

    US$3.99–US$106.40

I wasn’t sure about uploading this one but I decided to because this was the easiest infrared picture I have ever processed. I channel swapped the colours and that is all….I haven’t done anything else to it. Normally I have to play with levels and heaps of other stuff to get the blues right and the white actually white, but for some reason this one didn’t need any adjusting at all…not sure why. Here are the camera details in case you’re curious… Camera: FujiFilm FinePix S7000 / Date: 16-02-2008 @ 11:46AM / Location: Kurnell – just around the corner from where Captain Cook landed. • The Rocks, Sydney
    by Jacqueline Barreto

    US$3.71–US$98.80

Every afternoon on my way home from work I would see that lamp post coupled with the Harbour Bridge and I’d think to myself “That would make for a great shot”. After many months of telling myself that I have to take that shot I finally got off my behind and did just that. I am really happy with what I got. Here are a few categories to take a look at: /

  • Sisters Fishing
    by Karin Taylor

    US$4.70–US$125.40

Sales of this Design? – 2 sales so far :) / ‘Friends Series’ card by Karin Taylor _Friends are siblings God forgot to give us.’ _- Unknown Sisters Fishing is a painting done on canvas textured paper. It was so much fun to paint this one. The inspiration for the stripes on the towels came from the wierdest idea. I was just staring one day at a set of brightly coloured corkboard pins at my eye level on the cupboard and the idea was born! Inspiration comes from all over the place!

  • Gentoo Penguin
    by Robert Elliott

    US$3.42–US$91.20

100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of this item, will be donated to Bush Heritage Australia Photo of Gentoo Penguin taken at Neko Harbour, Antarctic mainland. The Gentoo Penguin is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red list of Threatened Species Melting sea ice and overfishing have triggered a dangerously rapid decline in penguin populations on the Antarctic peninsula – a direct result of global warming, warns a new report from the WWF. Temperatures on the frozen continent are rising five times faster than the global average due to the unprecedented rate of climate change, pushing four species perilously close to extinction. Warmer temperatures are forcing penguins to raise their young on increasingly thinner and more precarious ice floes, while stronger winds mean many eggs and chicks are being blown away from their parents before they are able to survive on their own. The gentoo, chinstrap and adélie – along with the emperor, the largest penguin species in the world – are now struggling to survive as melting sea ice destroys nesting sites and reduces vital food sources, such as krill.

  • Sydney Harbour Fog
    by Mark Snelson

    US$3.99–US$106.40

    Fog lifting over Sydney Harbour

  • On a wet evening in Whitby this long exposure manages to smooth out the water and soften the detail in the sky. I have converted this to black and white but it wouldn’t have made much difference if I hadn’t. This long-exposure captured the mood of the evening well. Because of the weather conditions the town was deserted and quiet. The rain had reduced visibility and the only thing that can be seen on the horizon is the light from a distant boat which had been accentuated by the long-expsoure.

  • BEST VIEWED LARGE* This shot was taken at dawn on Thursday 10th April 2008, the vantage point was Blues Point looking east. The lens used was a Sigma 10-20mm lens i reccomend it as its not very expensive but comes in very handy. The camera used a Nikon D300, the black and white conveersion was done using Capture NX, there was also some straightening of the horizon and sharpening., but not much else. For those visiting Sydney the areas around McMahons Point and Blues Point on the Nothern side of the Harbour are good photo opportunity points, they can be acessed from Circular Quay by ferry This work is also available in colour
