  • Shot at the trainstation in Aarhus, Denmark in January – a train was leaving the station, and as I walked up along the carts, I noticed this guy sitting there. I moved a couple of carts ahead, put the viewfinder to my eye, waited for him to get in the picture – and snap.

This is the effect that the TV + The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy has on my daughter…...I am told that the ladies underwear section of the Littlewoods catalogue and Kate Moss clutching rose petals to her knockers in that new perfume advert has the same effect on me….....even waving chocolate under her nose …...and I am led to believe that chocolate is suitable distraction therapy for all women….. won’t get her attention….. Captivation….......

  • Model – the lovely Lauren Vickers. / This girl is seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. And for a sydney mainstream model that’s just plain unheard of ; ) MUA/Hair – Becca + Jacxx @ Prophecy Makeup A total fluke shot, we were walking back from the location and we passed through Waymouth Street in the city where they were doing construction on the street. The guys were already gobsmacked, so I simply asked and they were more than happy to oblige. / It was funny though, they all pulled out their phones and started taking photos of us, because they said their mates would never believe them otherwise. / Thanks boys, you guys rule. • The M1 (Westgate Freeway) is having an extra lane added. This was taken just near the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. These guys are working by night to get the job done, it’s quite a site, they had four of these balloon lights up when I was there. DANNY DO NOT READ BELOW THIS I have no tripod, so this was hand held at ISO 800, which is a testament to the brightness of the artificial lights. It’s a combo of two shots; one taken with aperture priority and then shutter priority. This was done to control the highlights and shadows betterer. Kind of wishing I had a camera with auto-bracketing now … A few more images on flickr
