This is the newest addition to our tribe, Lolly. This was taken some time ago when she was but a wee thing and she is now a fully grown bossy boots. She used to belong to my cousin but they have moved to Macau so she now lives at our house. My cousin adopted her from her boss who in turn rescued her and her siblings from a stray litter found in the garden of her parents’ beach house. Poor lovey has had many addresses in her short little life! But I am glad to say this will be her last, I couldn’t possibly let her go!

I did this pastel from a photo I took of this little guy as he raided my neighbours orange tree. I tried to keep the startled expression. I thought this might work well on a black t, so let me know what you think. I have the original at home.

This is a little lost kittie that was found last Thursday. The vet says she is about 5 weeks old. I am fostering her until she is old enough to find a home for her. If you happen to be in my area, please contact the local Humane Society if you would have a little bit of room in your home for this little girl. All she wants is some love and attention. Miss Kitty, ready for her annual “special day”. This closeup photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D through a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/20th sec at f/2.8, no flash.
