It’s Easter today and my mom stopped over early to give these to me, I took a picture of them to make them last forever. Today is a beautiful sun shiny day, the sky is so blue with puffy white clouds. Well I better get busy and put the Ham in the oven….............Happy Easter !!!!!!

So there I was, just out for a walk along the beach at sunset. The explosive thermo-nuclear sunset to the west was begging for my attention, but to the east was this little black cloud, hoping to slip by un-noticed and join in all the sunset fun with the other clouds. I caught him in no man’s land, with nowhere to hide. I let rip with a 12 megapixel onslaught, and the rest is history. This image is brand new and will be removed when the quota is reached. Unfortunately this is one of the areas that was affected by “Black Saturday”, I am so hoping that this little pocket of Myrlte beech forest wasnt touched by the fires. There were fires in the Blue Range, Marysville National park. The Myrtle beech trees have been around since the Jurassic period. I stood in the river with my jeans rolled up to my knees, the water had slowed nearly to a stillness as it gathered around the rocks in the water that were covered with moss, as I hit the timer button on my camera in that 10 seconds I had time to reflect on the raw beauty of this ancient forest. The forest that stood before me was thousands of years old. It was summer out beyond these beautiful old trees it was a stinking hot day, the flies stuck to my body, I found relief in the river and under the ancient old tree. Under the ancient trees it was freezing, for some strange reason it was like the middle of winter under the trees and my feet and legs were numb from the icy water that I stood in. This artwork has been featured in Yarra Valley and ranges Group and also in Crossing Streams Group. This is one of my personal faves. It was taken about 20 minutes after the Blue Wet Zebra. / The clouds were dark, the sky was colourful. / As i was fiddling with the cam, the sun came up like this! And the window was still dripping in a cool way. / I like this, coz it got my favourite colours in it!! As is! / A bit abstract isnt it. Best viewed LARGE! The detail of the water drops is quite cool Featured in the Experimental Photography and Editing group!!! / !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
