Château de Chenonceau near the French village of Chenonceaux in the Loire Valley, is considered to be a true fairyland caste with its distinctive turrets, rooftops and the unique tower next t the castle. This photograph of one of the hallway of the building portrays a mysterious elegance that engulfs the building today. FOUR HUNDRED VIEWS ~ THANK YOU / FEATURED ON REDBUBBLE HOME PAGE From the Third Man to the Ragman / The Third Man film celebrates it’s 60th anniversary this year (1949 ~ 2009) Orson Welles in post-war Vienna Carol Reed director of The Third Man, I will always associate as the male director with a female name directing the leading character Holly Martins another strong impressive male with a female name. However what legacy is left with me is his dramatic lighting and film sets, which gave introduce the monochrome’s twin towers ~ light and shade, and shape and form in combination and fusion for intensity and impact, something which is not lost on my own work. Cityscape was shot from the top of the “Arc de Triomphe” in Paris (France). Far away you can see “La Defense” district. When the shot was taken the avenue was strangely empty, all the cars seemed to be escaping the city. I think this photograph will be great on Laminated print, Mounted print or Canvas print.

Sacre Coeur, Paris. The amazingly original basilica is located in Montmartre, leading to the highest point of Paris city. First constructed in 1875, it was not completed until 1914, due to a problematic law system that almost stopped construction entirely. Only saved by a loophole, construction finally continued to the end. I didn’t get to spend as much time here as I would normally like to, but the climb to the top of the tower was worth it for the incredible view of the city below. Original shot layered twice, with 3 textures, colour altering of each layer, blending of layers, further colour altering and an omni light effect.
