So much beauty can still be found in a flower that is starting to fade. This black eyed susan immediately caught my eye with all the wonderful autumn colors in its wilting petals. When I set-up to take this photo the outcome was not my original intention. In viewing the picture after I realized I had been blessed with far more than I had hoped for. God works in mysterious ways does he not! My initial aim was to photograph the black eyed susans in my garden with a nice dark background.
