  • Author: Sally Omar / Word Count: 141 / browse writing next / The years passed quickly / Each one faster than before / Hours flew by / Soon there would be no more She toiled very hard / Working on the land / Her face was wrinkled / Rough were the palms of her hand Her husband passed on / Children moved away / She now treasured every moment / Every single day Old fashioned was she / A woman of pride / Always told the truth / Never did she lie Could not understand / How things were so rearranged / People so different / The world had certainly changed She walked the path / Of the righteous …always eager to please / Prayed every day / Down on her knees She was often lonely / Missed her family and friends / Still she appreciated life / And would till the end She knew the day was coming / To unburden her load / She knew that soon / Would be the End Of The Road / Thanks very much Sally Omar :)

  • Road Less Travelled
    by Heather Rivet IPA

    US$3.42–US$91.20

follow me as I take the road less travelled…........ Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, / And sorry I could not travel both / And be one traveler, long I stood / And looked down one as far as I could / To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, / And having perhaps the better claim / Because it was grassy and wanted wear; / Though as for that, the passing there / Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay / In leaves no step had trodden black. / Oh, I marked the first for another day! / Yet knowing how way leads on to way / I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh / Somewhere ages and ages hence: / Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, / I took the one less traveled by, / And that has made all the difference. / (c) Robert Frost All future sales of this piece will be donated in memory of Axel Moore. / / All artwork is © Heather Rivet, All Rights Reserved. • Aimless (Self Portrait)
    by Claire McAdams

    US$3.56–US$95.00

© Claire McAdams / ALL RIGHTS RESERVED I have been fighting with many people that I love lately and I feel like I am just being tossed around by my emotions. I am at home and remembered I had this awesome dress and wanted to do some shots in it so I tried to capture a jump shot in which I looked like I was just flying aimlessly, because that’s kind of how I feel. I thought texture added something cool here but I kept a copy without it because I really like how it looks both with and without texture.

  • Saving Grace
    by Rhana Griffin

    US$4.70–US$125.40

I got you / You know I heard you say / You blossomed into a beautiful day / Your sunlight keeps shining in my face / I would see it even in deep out of space And all in time / I know I will see you again and again / And every night I’m going to hold you and hold you and then / Before the light I will rescue and then we’ll begin / To start it all over again I love it / And how you clear my way / Guide me into a brand new day / In your eyes you know I’ve found my place / You see you – you are my saving grace And all in time / I going to see you again and again / And every night I’m going to hold you and hold you and then / Before the light I will rescue and then we’ll begin / To start it all over again Don’t ever want to miss you / Don’t ever want to forget you / The way you are….today And all in time / I’m going see you again and again / And every night I’m going to hold you and hold you and then / Before the light I will rescue and then we’ll begin / To start it all over again Lyrics by Pete Murray

  • The Stare
    by Jeremy Harrington

    US$3.70–US$98.80

I was driving along side some of the many paddocks that frequent my area (the Hawkesbury area) when I came across this cow, the light seemed to be pretty decent and seeing as how the cow was a few metres away I decided it would be a good opportunity to test out my new 55-200mm lens.. / The cow just would not look at me (unusual for a cow) and then finally it decided to sneak a glance so I snapped the shutter and this was the result.. / Post processing involved adjusting the exposure, contrast and levels, and then applying a vignette and a monochrome filter. / I havent uploaded anything for quite some time so I decided to throw this image to the wind and see if it flies or crashes and burns.. / As per usual comments and critiquing are more than welcome, and thanks very much for taking a look!
