One day, Dad / I’ll have hands just like yours / One day, Dad / They’ll be as strong as yours / One day, Dad / I hope to be a man like you / Loving husband / Caring father / These tiny hands of mine / So new to the world / Can feel that Love and Gentleness / Of a real man / And, one day / when you’re old and frail / These little hands / Will be there for you / The one who stood by me / If I could choose my Dad / It would still be you / For this I know for sure / I couldn’t have chosen better!
Never underestimate the importance of the father!!!!!!!!! Mine was never around.
Here is a captured greeting between my younger son and my hubby who’s just returned home from work.

FIRST TIME PUBLISHED Watch this />http://www.ingetjetadros.comWhen I looked outside my restaurant in Broome I saw two cowboyheads sitting on the tables outside and I had a strong urge to make some photo’s. I spook to the two men they where from Fitzroy Crossing. They where watching a crowd of Indeginous Aboriginal men and women ‘hanging’ outside in the Plaza. They where waiting for the local liquorshop to open, In Fitzroy is now a ‘ban’ on alcohol, they told me, so Fitzroy Crossing is now a ‘dry’ Community Miss. / Broome, Western Australia. / Today I received an email stating; CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR IMAGE ‘TYPAN’ is one of 55 images from the PEOPLE & PLANET International Photo Competition. to be published in the 2009 People&Planet; Social Justice & Enviroment Diary, which will be published this month in Australia (2009). / We thought that your image was incredible, and it won from a pool of OVER 1000 images from 316 photographers from around the World! / All funds raised by the People&Planet diary go to Australia’s small non profit organisations which are working to promote social-justice and environmental substainability around the world. / / watched 802 times 7-11-09

The Power of Music has been on my mind lately. I took this shot and a couple other ones of this fantastic singer. She is out of India and I so had a blast dancing and being with this group on this very big wedding day of a good friends cousin. The POWER OF VOICE!
Allow me to introduce “the Wormster” and one of his fledgling blackbirds, having lunch today. Wormie got his name because he’d frequently follow me around my back garden with a beak full of worms. This was apparently his way of dropping a hint to me to put out dried worms and suet nibbles for him to feed his babies. Often when I go into the garden Wormie is out there cheeping persistently at me for his favourite menu. He normally sits on top of our garden shed, the lamppost or in the hanging baskets, and has even hopped right into our kitchen and onto the draining board demanding attention! He really is a busy fellow and dedicated dad…. Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 70-200mm L f/4

I love photographing my Father. There’s a lot of character to be captured in someone who’s lived for 70 years. / We all went to a local airshow today, & Dad I were drawn to the classic & vintage cars that were on display. / This one’s a ‘48 Ford Prefect. / Two classics full of character…. Here is a re-worked image of my little girl and my husband which was on RB a while ago.. I keep coming back to it so finally decided to play with it and here it is… I originally had this image in colour but got some great advice from a fellow bubbler to try it in b&w so I did…... This image was taken when my little girl fell over on the rocks and hurt her knees and her daddy gave her a piggy back to the car before the storm came.
