White Horse with black mane…Not sure of the official name for such a horse…
I love horses and this is a picture of my horse. I love her to death and after. I put her to sleep at an young age of 16. So I hope you enjoy. Please make any comment you wish.

Beautiful black horse being driven in style. The relationship of man and horse is vividly depicted in this image. This photograph has looks ‘painted’ which makes it have an even richer appearance. Has a vintage look, a step back in time.

Photo of a horse…
The white mule is framed by the black mules. I liked the contrast.
(from Wikipedia) Grévy’s zebra (Equus grevyi), sometimes known as the Imperial zebra, is the largest species of zebra. It is found in the wild in Kenya and Ethiopia. Compared to other zebras, it is tall, has large ears, and its stripes are narrower. The species is named after Jules Grévy, a president of France, who, in the 1880s, was given one by the government of Abyssinia. In certain regions of Kenya, the plains zebras and Grévy’s zebras coexist. Grévy’s zebra was the first zebra to be discovered by the Europeans and was used by the ancient Romans in circuses. Later, it was largely forgotten about in the Western world until the seventeenth century. Grévy’s zebra is considered endangered, partly due to hunting for its skin, which fetches a high price on the world market. Its also suffers habitat destruction, human disturbances at water holes and competition with domestic grazing animals. There are estimated to be 17 000 Grévy’s zebra still living in the wild. It’s very subtle but when you look closely, you can see the weed on his forehead. I love tiny details that might be easily missed. We photographed this horse, near Stanford, Montana when we were driving toward the Little Belt Mountains.
The grass is ALWAYS greener…. A black horse leans through a rope fence to graze on the grass outside her pasture. Captured in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; using a Canon Rebel XSi with a 55-250mm lens.
A black horse pokes her head through a rope fence to graze on lush green grass. Maybe she was hoping the grass was sweeter on the other side? Captured in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; using a Canon Rebel XSi.
