Well here it is folks…I will put up a better quality photo later. / After hours and hours of diligent crosshatching EVERY SINGLE SCALE, I have finished. all drawings in this series are drawn with a black pen imperfections and all no transfer and touch up they are photographed from the origonal artwork (hence the gray in the backgrounds which i like anyways) with my trusty camera and then cropped and put onto the template.all drawings were drawn by me anywhere from 3 to 7 years ago.art in many forms has always moved me luckily for me i could combine two passions in this series of drawings(photography and drawing with inks). for anyone interested in buying one of these as a t-shirt or print but would like it to be colored in bubblemail me or leave me a comment and i’ll be happy to do so. For those of you who remember, Falkor was the name of the Luck Dragon in The Neverending Story, back in the eighties. I always loved the movie and Falkor was an adorable cross between a dog and a dragon, strange though that might seem, who stuck with me always. :) / A marriage between Apophysis and Photoshop Elements 2.0. Individual flames combined into one piece, no scripts, just manual fiddling. This started off as a sketch for my Wonderland artwork series (it was going to be Alice and the Caterpillar- but the caterpillar gradually morphed into this dragon and I felt like doing a primarily pen-and-ink work this time around. So Alice was put on the backburner for a little bit and instead we have a little girl and her dragon friend set against a silver sky with a blue moon. One only knows what they could be talking about….. Original artwork measures 12.5×19 inches approx. and is for sale (email redeye@designbyredeye.com to inquire).
