That’s what I think every time I see this door! / (It’s across from the entryway to my basement, which is / on the right. ) Rickety wooden steps with no rails, dim lighting…and the constant churn of the furnace. Makes you want to think twice about going down there.. / / Special thanks to Kurt Tutschek for / sharing info with me on one of the programs he used. This is a drawing I have done for David my nephew for his eighteenth birthday. He came loaded with images he liked and this is what I have come up with. Coloured Pencil on smooth cartridge paper Also available as a T Shirt
ORIGINAL FOR SALE $1399 plus P&H Pen and Ink on smooth surfaced paper. Can’t remember what type – walked into the artshop and ran my fingers over the surface until I found one I liked, with the gsm to match. The picture won the Jean Eales Memorial Prize, three firsts in various divisions and best in show. The four alpacas are from my friends farm and are as individualistic as the picture portrays. The big black one at the front, Zack, has covered me with green slime on more than one occasion! They are truly extraordinary animals and I just love their cheeky, inquisitive natures:) Enjoy:) / Bright Blessings, / Marg The original framed artwork, which won the Jean Eales Memorial Award, First in Show, First in Section, First Overall in Show, is for sale. One of my favourite old Japanese sayings / “七”- seven,”転”-fall over,”八”-eight,”起”-get up I was reading Paulo Coelho’s “The Alchemist”. / He wrote in the introduction of the book - / “When we first begin fighting for our dream, we have no experience and make many mistakes. The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.”

THIS WAS TAKEN IN MILLENNIUM PARK IN CHICAGO IN THE REFLECTIVE POOL. THE REFLECTIONS WERE SO CLEAR, DESPITE THE WEATHER BEING GREY AND OVERCAST! I LOVE HOW IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE THAT THE WATER IS ONLY A COUPLE OF INCHES DEEP AND YOU CAN SEE THE GROUND THROUGH IT
