Long Beach, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Canada / March, 2008 On a cold and very wet day out on Long Beach, Vancouver Island we made a couple of friends for a moment whilst out with our cameras… happy to check us out whilst we set up our shots, I couldn’t resist turning my attention to them… well they were following us everywhere! We were not quite sure what breed they were.. obviously living wild.. perhaps a bit of wolf in there, who knows… But anyway, this pair of puppies were as cute as… I’m sure if we had permanent residence there, then they would be sat by my feet now! September 2008 – “Friendship” published in the Redbubble Publication “Compassion, Courage & Friendship” !

I’ve had this image for a while and have been a little reluctant to upload it due to all the chatter that’s centred around quality and content. So in response to Natalie’s Forum I thought it was time to share. This was captured using a Sony Alpha 100 using a 75 – 300mm. I was walking the back alleys and laneways of Echuca when this little guy popped out, now he knew that pound for pound it was not going to be a fair fight (between me and him!) but he would’ve given me a run for my money! Hence the title! / . / Australiana / Born of This Earth – Series / Hearts At War / Vehicular works / Architecture / B&W Photography / Transitional Industrial Utopian Series / Abstract / Beautiful Humans / / . / You can also listen to PLV’s music / . / Please take a look at the wonderful work of / Rhana Griffin / / . / / . / other works to view / . / / . / / . / / . / / . / / . / / . / / . /

This is Hope my Lurcher, on a snowy febuary day in 2007, she wasn’t that keen on the weather but did oblige me with this quirky shot. I have another Lurcher called Grace as well as Rubicon and Renegade the Ferrets who complete the team, Hope has the nose for finding quarry and Grace has the speed to fill my freezer. Here are the two dogs playing in the snow.
