Long Beach, Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Canada / March, 2008 On a cold and very wet day out on Long Beach, Vancouver Island we made a couple of friends for a moment whilst out with our cameras… happy to check us out whilst we set up our shots, I couldn’t resist turning my attention to them… well they were following us everywhere! We were not quite sure what breed they were.. obviously living wild.. perhaps a bit of wolf in there, who knows… But anyway, this pair of puppies were as cute as… I’m sure if we had permanent residence there, then they would be sat by my feet now! I am not sure of the story behind the dog. It was either walking ( very slowly ) with its master. Or it was an abandoned old dog that was trying to tag along with the woman for company. This is a reworking of an older shot which I cropped to make this image . Picture was taken on a Mamiya 645 on ASA 100 film and image has not been altered. The pedestrian blur is because I used a one second exposure.

This is a re-work of my Scruffy picture I took of her 3 days after I found her abandoned on the “campo” scared and alone. Nikon D40 18-55mm I think she must have been thrown out at night as she is terrified of going into our back garden at night (our spotlight is broken!) and just cowers on the grass in fear and refuses to go to the toilet! Anyway whilst RB was down the other day I did a bit of playing on PSP and this was one of the images I played with!!! TEXTURE /
