  • 'Someday'
    by Chris Dixon

    US$5.70–US$152.00

Someday… on a clear, still, moonlit night; / To the beach, is where we’ll go. / With a blanket and hot chocolate already packed; / Walk, hand in hand, on soft, warm sand; / Down to the water’s edge, where we’ll dance awhile; / Oh, to hold you close and whisper in your ear; / Those three words you’ve longed to hear. / Brush aside the hair which hides your face; / See a smile grow and laughter kiss your lips; / Then sit with you ‘til dawn‘s early light; / Your hand in my left, hot chocolate in my right. / Precious moments, dreams and memories; / Someday… with you, I want to share.

  • Bouquet Of Blessings

  • Islamorada Key, Florida USA LARGE view for detail! Many are curious with how I ‘do things’ so as I upload this week – I will be adding notes to let people know how ‘I do things’ and why it works for me. All I can say is: It is all about marketing. You have to GO TAKE IT. Its out there and plenty to go around! In the meantime – our back yard is one of the best places in the world to get awesome shots! I dont allow idle hands as I feel idle hands lead to the devil’s work. So – if I get a minute where I feel boredom creeping in – I hit that back yard baby! I would say probably more than 80% of my shots are taken from my very yard. Excluding my assigned work such as the ruins and other shoots.. But those shots usually never make it here for Y’all to see. However – I have learned to shoot for ‘myself’ – as well as – get the job done I am being paid for. Then I have ‘their’ shots and ‘my’ shots. I dont sell my work online as not to mess up and sell something I shouldnt. I only sell ONE of all of my prints. One. So – if the piece is already sold (as the Mayan pieces were) I can still share them with y’all – yet not get off track with my prints and end up selling multiple prints of the same piece. To stay safe – I simply dont set myself up to make that mistake for the mere .12 cents one makes off of a card – for example. So that clears that up as to why my work isnt for sale. I dont really know exactly what people want me to say – what advice they need to make this come into fruition for themselves. So I am simply adding random advice to uploads in hopes of answering some of your questions. I want us ALL out there with assignments in hand and I will do anything in my power to make that happen. Please remember – I may be getting paid now but I am still Sky. I havent changed. Nothing has changed. And nothing ever will. My feet are still firmly planted in the Earth and still lacking of any and all Ego. Im simply getting paid now… nothing less – nothing more. • Reflections of an Angel
    by eseffpe

    US$3.71–US$98.80

Just to add…it is said that when an angel is around you or trying to reach you, a falling feather or a feather on the ground is one of their ways of bringing this to your attention! ... This explains the title of this work :-) i was a bit wearey of making a HDR out of this as the contrast with the feather was already so high but i think it worked out! i really enjoyed making this…!

  • Autumn Butterfly
    by Bonnie Taylor Barry

    US$4.28–US$114.00

I’ve been having to get very close to the butterflies with my macro lens, but I decided to stalk them this time with my 400mm lens. I could keep a safe distance without scaring them away and came up with pretty good results on this Gulf Fritillary with its wings outspread. I’ll have to try this more often and see what happens.

  • Zebra Longwing butterfly.
    by Eyal Nahmias

    US$4.99–US$133.00

A Zebra Longwing Butterfly, Heliconius charitonius. The Zebra Longwing is common across the country. They have an exceptional lifespan. Several months is not uncommon as compared to a week or two for most butterflies. Zebras have a range from South America, Central America, Mexico, parts of the lower coastal Southeast and Florida. Not much of a strayer or migrator, Zebras have on rare occasion been spotted in the Midwest. The zebra longwing butterfly caterpillars eat the leaves of passion flowers. The passion flower contains a toxin that gives the zebra longwing an unpleasant taste and makes it poisonous to predators. The butterfly drinks the nectar of a wide range of flowers. When it is disturbed, the zebra longwing butterfly makes a creaking sound by wiggling its body. At night, large groups will roost together on tree limbs. They return to the same roost night after night. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- 2009 BUTTERFLIES CALENDAR / / / / / / Or a T-Shirt to go along with /
