  • Front Row Seats
    by Craig Goldsmith

    US$4.25–US$113.24

Two Brighton Deck chairs sit with great vantage spot of a incoming storm front. I love the moody feel to this shot. I must thank Matthew Bonnington for his help in bringing the most out of this shot, his help with some new processing techniques really add impact to this shot.

  • This is a room where Fleur would not enter – there were all these wierd and wonderful exhibitions and this just had a chair and a pair of shoes – don’t know why she would go in but the say children have a sixth sense…..

  • Caged.
    by Michael Gatch

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Up a rusting spiral staircase and through a steel cage sits a lonely chair under a caved in roof. The building this is a part of has operated as a magnet factory for quite some time, but i believe this particular section was a coal refinery in the infancy of our town. I have found a few things to back this up, but nothing solid.

  • Courage
    by Joanne A. Bradley

    US$3.99–US$106.40

This elderly woman sits at the window and contemplates the world outside. She does not see far beyond the window frame because her world has diminished considerably. Two years ago she was officially diagnosed with dementia after a life threatening surgery and long hospital stay. However, her family and friends noticed a difference in her personality over the last several years. Once a proud and hard working single mom, she raised two children during the 60’s and 70’s at a time when single parenthood was not as widely accepted as it is today. At present, she is reduced to little more than the passive demeanor of a quiet child. She is aware of the reduction in both her mental and physical abilities. She also understands that she is helpless to change anything. / It takes great courage to face the inevitable. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia; it accounts for 64 per cent of all dementias. For example right now in the US, Alzeihmer’s has surpassed diabetes and is the sixth leading cause of death. As baby boomers are rapidly approaching the age of retirement it is believed that 10 million baby boomers will develop Alzheimer’s in their lifetime. Currently, there are more than 24 million people in the world with dementia—this is estimated to rise to 81 million by the year 2040.6 / Statistics taken from both the Canadian and American Alzeihmer’s Society.

  • ......LIKE A SURREALISTIC DREAM
    by GittiArt

    US$5.42–US$144.40

What I like the most is to paint with vibrant colours , but my artistic vision is sometimes concentrated on black & white. I’m always fascinated how some art evolve and change from beginning to the end of the final stage…..a lot of my drawings start from scribbles…....this is the kind of thing what happenes when I start drawing without a plan and nothing more than a burning desire to be creative ! Creating leads to the experimentation and experimentation leads to the new and wonderful ! My aim is to improve this site over time and your input is of great importance to me ! Many thanks for stopping by !
