Drought Breaker As the farmer knelt down on the salty sand, / He needed rain to save his land. / The crops were wilting, the cattle all dead, / He looked around, not a word was said. The ground was dry, where is the rain? / What could stop this worthless pain? / The farmer cursed in sheer despair, / He did not have a drop to spare. A thundercloud covers the western sky, / A bolt of lightning explodes near by. / The farmer looks up and begins to pray, / Hoping that the rain will come his way. Then drip-by-drip it starts to fall, / The crystal water like a clear glass wall. / The trees and flowers all in bloom, / Then once again, gone is the gloom. This for you Terez , my lovely daughter , she died when she was nearly 15 …... Thank you my friends your comments and support mean a lot to me. I had this pain bottled up in me so so long… but I knew and hoped with time passing things will change and turn out good… I was right, things started to unfold last week and I could just see and feel it. Working with this wonderful model just inspired me and brought all those feelings up from my heart, bones and my most inner part. I loved every minutes of it and it gave me a wonderful peace of mind. / The original is 120cmX100cmx2cm , oil on canvas , SOLD !. / You can see this picture in a nice interior here / Hope you like it…? / / / /

The last things I painted in 2007. / / Watercolour, chalk pastel, ink pen and silver leaf. I got this paint flicker thing a few months back and have been splattering test canvases, this is the first time I’ve used it in a finished piece. Fun fun! / / This one I’ve called ‘found’, though that’s not necessarily what’s happening. / Each of these creatures could be considered ‘mistrustful’ perhaps. How did they come to have a shiny crown? Did they find them? Steal them? Maybe the crowns always belonged to them. / / These are actually 3 separate canvases, making up a set.
