  • This series dealt with the manipulation of light to create an illusion of mystery and darkness. It thus represents the deep, dark an unknown just like an abyss in oneself. The images were taken with a pinhole camera, lights and blue gels.

  • Take a picture, it’ll last longer..

  • This is my Doom skull logo i am currently working on for a bigger piece that i will eventually finish, but i liked the skull as a solo element as well so i thought i would upload it as a shirt design! Featuring CCTV is always watching, capitalism barcode mouth.. can anyone tell me how to upload a close / enlarged version of my design into this section so people can actually view it properly?

  • I got this shot right before Halloween & edited it in Adobe PS. It has become one of my favorite “fun” captures. I know it is Christmas, but this is just for fun! Thanks for looking!! :)Kristi

  • Here’s a nice accident! It was to be a photo of my hubby but decided to make it all about me for once!! Ohh… And this is probably as close as we get to having a photo taken together these days!

  • corner of mission and 2nd street, san francisco, holga madness. / kodak tri-x turns out this is just up the road from the new RB office, but I didn’t know that when I took it. (having only been to the US thrice i still find steam rising from the vents in the street most evocative, the locals probably find it annoying)

  • Model/makeup: Teagan / Styling: Me

  • One of the first street shots I ever took back in 1964 in the East End of London. This was before Playstations, and probably the only ‘toy’ these kids shared between them was a skipping rope. Old bomb sites still held a fascination though as a form of amusement and exploration, as can be seen here. It was taken using a Yashica Mat 120 film twin lens reflex camera that took me six months to save up for. I used Tri-X B/W film and printed on a hard grade of paper to get the punchy contrast, a characteristic of all my early B/W work. This image was photographed digitally from the original print in my portfolio. © 1964 John Hooton Photography

  • I am currently in the process of designing a CD cover for a music compilation of artists who perform at the Famous Blue Raincoat and this was put together from an experiment I performed on some out of date 35mm film in my Holga..Well the film results were rather odd, but I kinda liked how it turned out… Hope you enjoy it =D

  • New T-shirt from Red – The new Guy .. a must have for every Photographer! / Now also available for Dark Tees!

  • My ever helpful assistant. / /

  • Taken in Woodbridge, England with diana+ camera, out of date kodak portra film and scanned from negative to bring out all of the grain and enhance the dust and vintage look. This was the first film that i had run through the camera, I was pretty happy with the results.

  • Diptych of two images taken on an Empire-Junior vintage toy camera.

  • Ask for it and it just might be made for you! A friend requested for a black one and here it is. Black is the new black, that’s what I’m sayin’! “Drew this based on a Nikon FM-1. Yes, I have a fetish for vintage.”
