Hand drawn A2 image on cartridge paper with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen probably took about a year to do, but I don’t pay attention to the time or the drawing until it is nearly complete. This is one of my personal faves. It was taken about 20 minutes after the Blue Wet Zebra. / The clouds were dark, the sky was colourful. / As i was fiddling with the cam, the sun came up like this! And the window was still dripping in a cool way. / I like this, coz it got my favourite colours in it!! As is! / 928 views / A bit abstract isnt it. Best viewed LARGE! The other day I did a shoot with Tiffany and she shouted “We have to do a shoot in the pond!” I thought she meant on/around the pond, but she definitely meant IN the pond. I thought that would be awesome but it was so cold that I didn’t really give it a second thought. We got lucky with the weather because it was in the 70s, but the water was still pretty cold and Tiffany had to take a hot shower and I fed her hot chocolate and then hot tea as she snuggled in a blanket while we looked through the photos. Despite freezing her it was really fun.

Black Ink, Graphite, Coloured Pencil & Pastel on A5 110 gsm cartridge This began as a sketch on the Palm Beach ferry… on a near perfect sunny day. It follows on from Girl & The Sea, continuing to explore my love of the ocean & the peace & serenity it brings. The title, Caught A Light Breeze, comes from one of my favourite songs ever… music soothes the soul, just as much the ocean sometimes.

I had a vision to turn my colorful bug images into sepia toned black and white images with a touch of color. But didn’t know how, until today…..
