This sculpture, by Paul Day, stands in the new St Pancras Eurostar terminal in London. Standing 30ft high to the northern end of the Eurostar platforms, it provides drama to an otherwise empty space, and adds balance to the impressive structure of the station. This was shot as part of my London Project – see www.sftnet.co.uk for more details.

I don’t much care for flowers and roses and pretty things.. / and fluffy bunnies and butterflies..(though there are times / I can appreciate those also.) I prefer dirt and grit and rusty things..train tracks and biting / cold cheeks turning red, falling down without spilling the wine.. / and oh yes.. architecture!
