With windchill temperatures reaching -24 F, this photo came with a price…being very very cold. The water is actually significantly warmer than the air, hence the foggy mist. Today was bitterly cold! / / Lake Michigan in Kewaunee, WI / / Please View Larger

“They look for a victim to chivy, and howl him down, and finally lynch him in a sheer storm of sexual frenzy which they honestly imagine to be moral indignation, patriotic passion or some equally avowable emotion, it may be an innocent Negro, a Jew like Leo Frank, a harmless half-witted German; a Christ-like idealist of the type of Debs, an enthusiastic reformer like Emma Goldman. / / Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) / / For Neup Teamhair / / Some groups that you may want to visit and join: / AW Welcome Center / EF Welcome Center / Globes, Spheres and Curves / DaDa Land / Boolean Art / Human and Nature / Fantasy Art / Disclaimer

All that could be heard was the tiny grinding sound of dreams crumbling… off-set the sharp staccatos of hopes being dashed and the almost inaudible pitch of innocence being murdered.

Paul’s version of Bitter Sweet II / I love it! / Thanks Paul!:)

This image consists of two images combined with the auto align-blend feature in cs3. This gives the illusion of having used a wide angle lens. I also used a photo filter to modify the green tones of the heavily frosted foliage, a vignette and some judicious dodge and burn.

We had argued for months, we clung to the relationship afraid to be on our own. secretly we both knew it was doomed but were both afraid to end it. Then one day it happened, I remember following her as she walked away, hoping that I might change her mind. The tears stung and my words rang in my ears, she continued to walk head head down and out of my life. The last thing I remember of her was her coat as I let her go.
