It was dark. And the smell of death hung heavy in the damp, stagnant air. I knew it wasn’t safe, but the promise and the temptation pulled me forward… deeper and deeper until I was in way too far to turn back. Suddenly she was upon me, the manifestation of my dreams surrounding me in multiple visions of my burning lust… but turned against me with the force of a thousand demons and sinking sharp into my taut skin like steel rivets… There was no escape this time. I am truly captive as she appears again and again to torment my soul. Even if I survive, I know that I will never be released as I am under the curse of the raven. / My spirit to roam free, never more. Never more… But jeeze, what an awesome way to go, yeah? Every Thursday morning we go out to help the poor, the aged and HIV/Aids sufferers with food, clothing and to do the paperwork for those who are illiterate and eligible for a government pension (about US$20 a month) / This image was for a special occasion… Christmas! Each child received a chocolate, some sweets, toys and clothing, so it was very special for them. This little boy, an AIDS orphan, is looked after by his grandmother who has to survive on the above pension and our ‘handouts’ every Thursday – a loaf of bread, some meal and whatever we have managed to collect during the week. / All the proceeds from the sale of this image will go to the Redhouse Benevolent Society.

These wild horses were eating peacefully and all of a sudden the brown horse let the white one have it. They both had food falling out of their mouth. Taken in the west desert of Utah.
