  NEW Christmas Cards / Promotional Offer – Pack of 6 cards $21.60 / Send someone special one of these hand made wishes of hope!! / Let me know if you’d like me to personalise a card for you, I’ll be happy to… / —-—-—-—-—-—— / A Christmas Wish A star to light your way / A tree to help you breathe / A heart to help you live by Karin Taylor / —-—-—-—-—-—-——- / / The other day i began creating a new little range of Christmas Cards, in response to a challenge by Coppertrees and her Little Tree which she created in response to a poem about a little tree, there was a challenge to create something related to the poem, and I came up with the Christmas cards you’ve probably already seen I came up with the idea or concept…that tiny things are just as important as big things…. a tiny heart gifts as much life as a huge heart / a tiny tree gives us air to breathe / a tiny star provides light to guide us….. I drew each one of these symbols by hand, and painted them using pastels, coloured pencils, and marker pen….then i joined them altogether in photoshop to create a special Christmas wish, and added the poem under It matters not that things are small, or have small beginnings, they are still worthwhile, as worthwhile as the big things, and as it says in the song / from little things big things grow This is where the words on the front of the card stem from….. / I’ve kept the price lower for these cards, they are $3.60 each rather than the usual $4.95. I wanted to keep them affordable for multiple purchases. A pack of 6 cards would be $21.60 It’s also a nice Christmas message to put up for decoration around your home as a laminted print or poster on the wall, during the season of goodwill and thanksgiving.

  Well, I was asked to do an interview earlier today, and I just realized , July is my one year anniversary on RB!!!!!!! I just want to let each of you know how much I have truly enjoyed meeting you all. You have all inspired me in a way that you will never ever truly even comprehend ! What an awesome bunch of folks out here ! My group is now well over 800 members, Live, Love, Dream…. I am deeply touched and honored, and just to put icing on the cake lol, My birthday is Friday! WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO Again! LOL I wasnt gonna tell, but Terri is gonna anyways, so I might as well tell it ! LOL I also, although its not a habit for me to lie, lol, was gonna say I was 29, and that probably wouldnt float too well, so then I thought, well, 39, lol, and then I saw on my home page it already says 39 year old lol, so I reckon the right thing to do is to be honest, Lordy Lordy look who is 40 !   Today is my Mother’s birthday. She would have been eighty-one years old. I wonder what she would have looked like, and how she would have felt about all the changes that have occurred in our world in the last thirty-six years. My children never had the opportunity to meet their Grandmother, my grandchildren their Great-Grandmother. None of them were to be blessed by her delightful laugh, nor were they to feel the strong presence of this wonderful and Magickal woman. All of us were robbed of her charm and beauty. On July 21st, 1972, my Mother was needlessly murdered in Phoenix, Arizona. It was called a random act of violence, kind of like a drive by shooting, just a gun that went off and a bullet that happened to fly through her kitchen window, penetrating her body and exploding deep inside her chest. She bled to death on the doorstep of her house, with no one to hold her hand and comfort her as she passed. The perpetrator was never captured. The detective who handled the case worked in frustration for many years, trying to solve a cold case that to this day is not resolved. I spoke with him not too long ago. He is retired now, but remembers the murder as if it occurred yesterday. He regrets that he could not bring justice to my Mother, and peace to the family that she was torn away from. Today is my Mother’s birthday. I celebrate for her, she who cannot celebrate. I remember her, the beautiful one who wiped my tears as a child, who comforted and consoled me when I was sad or injured. I remember the Mother who made me laugh, who took me on long road trips throughout Arizona, and to California, where her heart certainly belonged. I celebrate for the one who taught me to be who I am. Happy Birthday Mama!! April 14th, 1927 – July 21st, 1972 Posted 04/14/2008 A short edit here. Yesterday, the second rose of the season blossomed, from the same plant that my own birthday rose had come from. I was not able to cut it until today, and believe me, there were thorns aplenty. Here is my Mother’s very own birthday rose, bloomed just for her on her special day. /

  Just a quicky, my sister has just joined RB and so I thought I would just write a quick journal so that if you get a spare few minutes you might just want to drop past and introduce yourselves. / I know how difficult it was when I first joined and although she hasn’t uploaded much just yet, I am sure there will be more to come. She is going to shoot me when she works out I did this but that’s what big sisters are for isn’t it. Her page is here. My mum joined RB a few weeks ago too but she uploaded one piece and then hasn’t been able to upload any more since. I just don’t want to get in trouble with her as I haven’t sent anyone to her page yet but Mum, seriously one piece – how can I send my friends to see your page when you have only one. While I am writing this journal, tomorrow is Teapot Day, my late Gran’s birthday. Take the time for a phone call or letter to a loved one, create some memories, find your teapot. Life is too short to loose touch with those you love.

  When I first laid my eyes on you, I was relieved to have finally found you after searching for such a long time. You were tall and slim. You radiated beauty and perfection. Words could not express the joy and relief I felt to have finally found you – the one that I had been longing to find for such a long time. I had to make sure my wife didn’t find out about us, so I brought you to my house when she was at work. I tried to impress you with the very thing that made me who I am today. I showed you what I was most passionate about – the thing that kept my mind creative and alive. But you were not impressed. You didn’t even say a word. So I ran my rough calloused hand up and down your beautiful backside. I was captivated by your perfect color tone and smooth complexion. But still you remained speechless. It was like you didn’t even care at all what I said. My words fell to the floor and were completely meaningless to you. I even whispered compliments of love and appreciation to you as I beheld your striking beauty. Suddenly, we were interrupted by the sound of my wife’s car pulling into the driveway. I didn’t know what I would do if she found us together. I rushed around looking for the best place to hide you. Hide, you must hide, into the back room you go. I will try to think up a plan to fix this mess I got myself into. What if she comes in here and smells your wonderful aroma? What if she goes into the back room and finds you there? How would I ever explain? Then, a few minutes later her car began to pull away. I was relieved. She must have just stopped in for a minute, I mused. It was much easier than I thought to keep our time together a secret. I would tell her in due time, after all, I was doing this for her own good. Yes, I was convinced that she would thank me for it some day. So we got down to business. I needed to stick to my plan. One small mistake could have cost me more than I cared to think about. So we took it slowly. After only a few hours, I was completely satisfied. I felt so happy and full of life and vitality. I never thought that doing something in secret would have ever made me feel so good. But I was finished and I had no regrets. If I was a smoker and a drinker, I would have had a cigarette and a drink. Not every husband out there is able to go to the lumber yard, pick out the most beautiful high quality pine boards, build a beautiful rustic wooden` bench as a birthday gift for his wife and love every minute of it.

  Well life at this is great, tomorrow is my husbands and I first wedding anniversary. Can’t believe a year has gone by so quick. WOW!!! I love him even more then I did the day we married. Our son Raven whom we named our business after will be in September. He is very close to walking. He is growing and learning so quick. / We are getting our business cards printed and they should be done very soon. So we will be able to spread our name out more. We did a photo shoot, last Thursday and it turned out great, had a fun time and the model loved us. So that is always good news. / We are hoping to get more experience and build up our portfolio. There are so many ideas to do, that it is hard to keep them all organized. It gets very overwhelmed but still very exciting. Well I guess that is it for now. Keep you wonderful and talented artists posted.
