OMG the very talented RACHEL LEIGH has nominated JUST BOOTS for the Pay it Forward Group She said ” “I love this photo because I know how difficult it is to get good pet shots and the lighting is just superb in this photo. Boots is as cute as can be and she captured him beautifully!” To me this is the highest compliment, thanking you so very much Rachel :O)) Waiting patiently for his morning walk…... Boots our dearest Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has the unfortunate name, as being black and tan he has golden lower legs. He was born during the rugby world cup when England actually won something and as his breeder was a rugby fan she called him Golden Boots, after Johny Wilkinson! Taken with my Sony F717, 800 ISO equiv. Lighting courtesy of my daughter holding a torch as there wasn’t enough natural light! Changed partially to sepia, then bluring and darker tones added for mood…..... This is one of my favorite pictures. I am passion about this photo because my husband gave me these roses for our 13th Wedding Anniversary. That is why I titled it “Anniversary Roses”.

This was painted in Photo Shop on a blank file set at 300 dpi. This painting is NOT photo generated or photo manipulation. This Is Mitch. He is my creation. He is was born in Venice Italy. His mother is Italian his father… well your just going to have to wait till I get his first chapter written. His family moved to the states , NYC, when he was 6. / After his father died his mother (never very caring in the first place) took off and he was left alone to bury his father at the age of 9. The only thing of value he had was a black Journal. After reading it Mitch finds out he is much more than just human. The continence of the journal was the history of his grandfather. Not wanting what happened to his grandfather to happen to him, Mitch takes to the streets. He spent his time growing up on the streets where he met an old blues player who taught him to play a guitar and sing the blues. That’s how he got money, singing on the streets and in joints. With his deep soulful voice and good looks getting a gig was easy. But it wasn’t enough, not for the life he wanted. / So being Italian… It was easy for him to find “other” work. He had learned to knife fight on the streets and became quite good. Then he hooks up with a small time drug lord and so it begins his true life of crime, soon Mitch becomes the right arm man for one of the biggest Mobsters in NYC…… Later , at the height of his success, just 18 Mitch unknowingly kills the Godfather’s nephew in a jealous rage, now he’s their target. / Hombres Fatal / Villains and Villainess

I’m so insignificant…I am because there’s the Sun…only then….I can be alive…So it’s the blessings of the Sun that we thrive on… Inspired by the ancient ways of Sun worship in the Hindu faith, religion, mythology and many religions and faiths worldwide.. This painting depicts the five elements, Earth / Water / Air / Sky and / Fire Oil-on-canvas / 36 X 24 inches ...this is what I personaly believe in.. is that there is just ONE God. How come? / This planet earth and the Solar (the sun)syetem sprang from the womb of the sun. (the big bang theory says so as well) it’s probably millions of years after the big bang, life began to spring up on our planet, we human beings were probably the last one to arrive lol:) It is us early human beings that had began to understand that we owe our life to the sun. The sun was the only God until great men and women who preached love, peace harmony amongst us came along and we began to worship them as Gods…it is our own interpretation or misinterpretation of their teachings that we should divide ourselves into religious groups and anyone who’s from another faith should be hated…(so sad) we defeat the very basics of their teachings that the holy men, messengers of God, the great teachers and givers of good to us, in Hinduism we call them Devtas which means ‘The Givers’…some call them prophets…some call them Gods as per their own reasons…For me personally The Sun is the God…If there’s the Sun, Only Then We are… This inspired poem is by a dear and a departed poet HAFIZ … I want both of us / To start talking about this Great Love As if You, I and the Sun were all married / And living in a tiny room. / Helping each other to cook, / Do the wash, / Weave and sew / Care for our beautiful / Animals. We all leave each morning / To labor on the earth’s field. / No one does not lift a great pack. Alpha and Omega- the framed image was the first I shot after learning I would be housebound and sick. I though it would last a few months, not more than a year. This is the 3rd birthday shot and I am tired of being eaten by the walls. The shooting room is going to be stripped bare, repainted; all my props I have packed and put away. I want to look elsewhere but need to learn to refocus my eyes. I suppose we just ran out of things to say to one another. / The walls in the blue room caught fire not that long ago, this is the last and best record of the ashes. / / * / 100% digital free, as always. This one was done entirely in camera, straight print except for a touch of tone.
