Beautiful Anonymous series latest work. Portrait – aka Spattered Heart. My favourite one so far :) – but she’s relatively new (finished yesterday) so time will tell… Hope ya’ll like it (and I made this one printable)

Another of the Beautiful Anonymous (BA) pieces. This one was done with traditional mediums that I scanned and put together digitally. The girl is completely black biro pen (I know there are a few big fans of that sort of drawing out there) I so greatly adore this one. Hope she might spark a bit of adoration in others too

Astyanax Arroz de Festa Astyanax – named after one of the several nymphalid butterflies, Basilarchia astyanax, recognisable by its blackish wings spotted with red. / Arroz de festa comes from the portuguese noun meaning ‘social butterfly’. / Our Astyanax here (on the right) is a real people person, loves company (rarely seen without Absinth by her side) and never goes anywhere without her red spotted black boots! In this piece Astyanax, an emerging artist, is portrayed during her debut show “Polka dots and Stripes” / Showcasing some of her more contoversal art, Astyanax likes to incorporate polka dots and stripes into her paintings, questioning the social boundaries of the times. / Showing at The Gallery for Freaks and Trippas, a place she frequents often, and is owned and managed by one of her many friends, Astyanax has never been happier! (tho she is suspicious of the photographer! lol!) originals drawn with biro pen on A4 paper / coloured in ps with airbrush. thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) / Astyanax, Absinth and Azurite Verditer / Absinthe Verte / Azurite Verditer /

Azurite Verditer – named firstly after the soft, deep blue copper mineral azurite produced by weathering of copper ore deposits. / The blue of azurite is exceptionally deep and clear, and for that reason the mineral has tended to be associated since antiquity with the deep blue color of low-humidity desert and winter skies. / the name Verditer comes from the common name of the ore azurite, used as a blue pigment for centuries, it was formerly known as Azurro Della Magna (from Italian). But is also known by the names Blue Bice and Blue Verditer / Verdita symbolises Azurites creativity, which is abundant. (tho sometimes misused) In this piece Azurite is portrayed in his home he shares with Absinthe and Astyanax in the burbs of Melbourne… / Astyanax’s paintings adorn the walls while Absinthe’s presence is noticeable in the deep purples picked out for the sofa and rug, purple being the most complimentary colour to green as the girls believed… / Azurites guitar lays casually against the corner, giving no indication in its silence of the incredible talent he possesses… Many a woman had swooned over his music… / Today though, Azurite is frustrated and concerned. / Concerned moreso but he doesn’t like to show his sensitive side much. / He has just received news of his little brothers latest antics, and is not impressed! / Their mother has sent the young boy on his way to Az’s, the poor woman not knowing how to deal with it at all, and so now Azurite has be to the responsible Big Brother… / (he would do anything for his lil brother tho!) stay tuned for more developments…. / edited to add / ongoing storyline found here / originals drawn with biro pen on A4 paper / coloured in ps with airbrush. thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) / Astyanax, Absinth and Azurite Verditer / Astyanax Arroz de Festa / Absinthe Verte /

Absinth Verte Absinth – named after the drink Absinthe, a distilled, highly alcoholic anise-flavored spirit derived from herbs, including the flowers and leaves of the herb Artemisia absinthium. / Absinthe is typically of a natural green color but is also produced in both clear and artificially colored styles. It is often called “the Green Fairy.” / Verte is derived from the type of absinthe most commonly consumed in the 19th century and is what is generally thought of as absinthe. / It is also french for “green” / Our Absinthe here (on the left) also goes by the name “green fairy” and often artificially colours her hair, though she tends to stick with green… She is also highly spirited and enjoys many old world treasures… In this piece Absinthe is portrayed on a day out at the gallery for freaks and trippas, a place she frequents often, and is owned and managed by one of her many friends. originals drawn with biro pen on A4 paper / coloured in ps with airbrush. thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) / Astyanax, Absinth and Azurite Verditer / Astyanax Arroz de Festa / Azurite Verditer /

Scarlett De la Venous Scarlett is so named thanx to her mothers love affair with all things red… a characteristic that has been passed down and embraced by Scarlett in her recent years (she was once a goth, who never wore colour…) / The house of De la Venous was once an elegant and powerful klan, who in their hey day appropriated an immense collection of property and wealth. / But the last century had not been kind to the family at all and their wealth had dwindled down over the years… / But the name still demands attention, and Scarlett loves attention! Scarlett is a dear friend of Absinth and Astayanax… / She was once the sweetheart of Azurite, before she fell in love with her girl, Lily… In this piece Scarlett is shown ready for a new day with her staffy pup, Inchantrezz. I was born 1963. I drew this work using blue biro pen on card way back in 1982 when I was just starting to learn how to draw, properly??? I must confess that I’m really not very good at maths-which is my worst subject in the whole wide world!/(my best subject was english); but, I must have been aged somewhere around 18/19, then; and, still a mere teenager. I’m now aged 45; and, the year is 2008. I recall at the time being very interested in the work of Pablo Picasso; and, the way he would create abstract female nude forms. I could never get my own work to look quite like being an actual Picasso? So, I guess, it looks more like being my own entirely unique form of abstraction, instead!

I was lucky enough to go to England, but I couldn’t afford any art supplies over there, argh. So some little biro sketches had to do. Oh the history of the place! Biros aren’t the best thing to draw with though…
