in hockey parlance is the Goalie. This is one of the best, Mikka Kiprusoff, of the Calgary Flames at last night’s game at the Saddledome against the Anaheim Ducks. Kipper played well but Anaheim did some pretty passing and scored three against him, plus an empty-netter. The Flames lost 4-1, ruining a special evening to honor their Captain, Jarome Iginla, for playing the most games of any Flame, his 804th last night. / SC work.

This is a remake of my previous “Cowboy and Horse”. / I was going to do another BW and SC work when I accidentally made a layer Negative instead of BW. I kinda liked the effect, so I kept going with it… / What do you think?? Is it a winner?

The same day we are at Sheep River Falls getting fabulous shots of kayaks jumping the falls, we see this great sight. We are in Alberta cattle country after all.

Second fellow I caught jumping Sheep River Falls that day. They actually stopped up river, walked down to survey the hazards, then walked back, jumped in the kayaks and made their run over the falls. The first fellow stayed close to our bank while this fellow opted for the middle of the falls. They knew what they were doing and made it look easy.
