Cause for Calibration
by mstracebut I can’t do the dirty tango with just anyone
Just getting back from a few days away, leaving again for a short little vacation on a beach south of Santa Barbara. I need the rest. I need the relaxation. But hey I did get in touch my muse for the Plaster Goodbye the Bitch Goddess piece. That wonderful little conversation is what sprouted this little ditty here. I dunno…I must need God’s gift of a mechanic to open my insides up and fix the clanking going on in there. Because my radar is SERIOUSLY off people. /

I have been inspired to jot a few lines down yet again when I saw this beautiful picture from CarrieGlenn brilliant collection and again like a lot of work on RB, I absolutely fell in love with it. It has a mysterious beauty about it a natural innocents. It is almost as though Carrie puts a part of herself into her art with every brush stroke she lays on canvas or with every manipulation she makes in a creative Photoshop package. And I could go on and on writing but these short few lines is enough for now. It started my mind off on yet another writing journey and this is the combined efforts from Carrie and me. Thank you for looking at our collaboration please feel free to comment on her beautiful artwork and my writing if you have the time. Thank you.

The Wee Bird
by pinkyjainThere was a wee Bird / Sitting upon a little hill / She was a saddened wee Bird / All alone on that barren hill. / All the trees were gone / H…
Sad poem, but true. Continuing destruction of our forests worldwide is harming the Earth. The Birds and Animals need the trees for many things, the atmosphere needs the trees so the Earth can breathe. If the people continue destroying trees world wide it could result in another dust bowl, many many times worse than the dust bowl era from the 1930’s. This poem popped in my head this morning, i wrote it down at work this afternoon
