This image I created for George (gemlenz) / George’s dream was for a perspective of the other side from life. I know from time to time I’ve caught myself day dreaming about how life after death would be…and never will myself or anyone really know forsure, but I would like to think that it is a beautiful and very surreal place. I hope you like this George and thank you everyone for your continued support.

New life is beautiful, simple and pure. Every now and then I need a gentle reminder that life IS beautiful. (c) Sarah Moore Bird Cage

On the 12th day of May 2008 I witnessed (along with thousands of others) a perfect circle in the form of a rainbow around the sun at about noon-time at a beautiful place in the Philippines. Completely perplexed, stunned and amazed at this extraordinary and divine sight, I HAD to create this artwork. Im not sure where you were or what you were doing at this same moment of time but I guess this is all we have. Small pigments of time all squeezed together. And if we’re blessed enough, we get moments like these and realise even for a second the gravity of God’s love. There were no photo’s taken at the time and all I had available to me was the memory of this moment… The moment my heart burned. Print available. / Vector digital art created in illustrator.

For those of you who remember my dream request series…I’m not quite through. I still have a few more to complete (you know who you are), and I only apologize for the delay…I spend way more time on my work these days…and this particular dream request I spent a lot of time on and finally was able to complete it. This dream request is for Julie Langford: / / Here is her dream request: / It would be to see an end to the human ignorance towards endangered primates – to see them at one with nature, cohabiting in peace and harmony – that would be a dream come true. I decided to go on a drive towards the wildlife refuge one morning…and spotted these 2 eagles in the trees…I have never been able to get a capture of 1 eagle let alone 2 at the same time, so I was completely thrilled. I spend a lot of time at the refuge…and have seen everything from deer, to moose, to canada geese….it’s definately a safe haven for our wild life. To learn more about our refuge you can visit: / http://www.fws.gov/kootenai/ Thank you Julie for letting me create your dream. :)

I used tweezers to create the last few folds. I can’t remember how big the paper was, though the wing is 7mm long. So basically I present the creator and the creation where the crane is framed by my fingers forming a circle. We can only understand size, fragility and significance when we compare two things. When we think, for example, how big the world is, we’re like tiny little specks of sand, or even atoms, to the eyes of a God holding the earth in his palm. I did not make this crane and take the picture with the description in my mind; but created it by instinct. It wasn’t easy drawing out my words initially. However many viewers have left very inspiring comments about my work, and for that I am grateful. Thank you. 100% of proceeds received from Redbubble in respect to sales of this item, will be donated to Bush Heritage Australia Photo of a Gentoo Penguin taken during a snow storm on Curville Island Antarctic Peninsula. The Gentoo Penguin is listed as Near Threatened on the IUCN Red list of Threatened Species Melting sea ice and overfishing have triggered a dangerously rapid decline in penguin populations on the Antarctic peninsula – a direct result of global warming, warns a new report from the WWF. Temperatures on the frozen continent are rising five times faster than the global average due to the unprecedented rate of climate change, pushing four species perilously close to extinction. Warmer temperatures are forcing penguins to raise their young on increasingly thinner and more precarious ice floes, while stronger winds mean many eggs and chicks are being blown away from their parents before they are able to survive on their own. The gentoo, chinstrap and adélie – along with the emperor, the largest penguin species in the world – are now struggling to survive as melting sea ice destroys nesting sites and reduces vital food sources, such as krill.

/ I’ve been waiting for my dreams / To turn into something / I could believe in / And looking for that / Magic rainbow / On the horizon / I couldn’t see it / Until I let go / Gave into love and watched all the bitterness burn / Now I’m coming alive / Body and soul / And feelin’ my world start to turn And I’ll taste every moment / And live it out loud / I know this is the time, / This is the time / To be more than a name / Or a face in the crowd / I know this is the time / This is the time of my life / Time of my life Holding onto things that vanished / Into the air / Left me in pieces / But now I’m rising from the ashes / Finding my wings / And all that I needed / Was there all along / Within my reach / As close as the beat of my heart So I’ll taste every moment / And live it out loud / I know this is the time, / This is the time to be / More than a name / Or a face in the crowd / I know this is the time / This is the time of my life / Time of my life And I’m out on the edge of forever / Ready to run / I’m keeping my feet on the ground / My arms open wide / My face to the sun I’ll taste every moment / And live it out loud / I know this is the time, / This is the time to be / More than a name / Or a face in the crowd / I know this is the time / This is the time of my life / Time of my life / More than a name / Or a face in the crowd / This is the time / This is the time of my life. / This is the time of my life.
