Please Visit: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ 100% of all your money goes towards the care of extreme rural families in Rural Isolated Villages in Africa. As I spend much time living with the Kambari tride, I get to know first hand the challanges they face each day just to survive. I also have the privilege of capturing not only hunger, sickness and often death, but the more happy occassions. This is Grace, and when I first met Grace in April 2007, she was suffering from Chronic Malnutrition. This was taken in December 2007, and the difference is wonderful. We as a Charity depend on People like yourself, who donate time in Prayer and Finance to help us provide help and support for Grace and many others like her. I thank you all so much for your help. Without those who give towards the Mission, we just could not do it. Please Visit: http://www.philadelphia33.org/ As is:

been reading about tribal child raising and the benefits, and we know I like birds… I began this art as abstract patterns, bubbles of pattern that transformed when I realised by putting a ‘fork in the road’ to the concentric circles, that I created an eye and beak. Before that, it could’ve been shown either way up. also, it transformed from earthy brown colours, to a colourful bird. ‘Is it art? ‘my teacher used to always question. He’s not here now. He’s just asking the question still! in my head! I like it-it’s bright, colouful and alive.

Featured in Exceptional Ekphrasis November 13, 2008. / Featured in Falling Leaves November 13, 2008. / Featured in Live, Love, Dream November 11, 2008. “I sing because I’m happy, / I sing because I’m free, / For His eye is on the sparrow, / And I know He watches me.” / words by Civilla D. Martin, music by Charles H. Gabriel His Eye Is On The Sparrow A fun compilation … still getting the hang of it!! Both images taken with the Nikon D40x, tree with the 18-135mm with the polarizing filter attached, the bird was taken with the 55-200mm lens. I love my birdie shots, but they’re all mostly taken on my boring deck … and I loved this beautiful branch shot I took on Sunday, but by itself … eh?? So the logical thing seemed to be to try to combine the two. Once I started thinking about it, this wonderful old hymn immediately popped into my head!! Hope you enjoy!!!
