  • This is a blend of 2 photos that I took .. 2 layers one the robin and the other blossoms

  • Hummingbird perched on a tree branch. / Photo taken in Cave Creek, Arizona. / Other hummer shots: / / / /

  • I think this is a juvenile female cardinal, judging from the color of the bill and from her childlike curiosity, hanging around the feeder longer than usual and looking around with intense interest and not a whole lot of nervousness as is evident in more mature birds. A beautiful trusting little girl!

  • paper on pencil (Stonehenge) drawing – ORIGINAL SOLD This is a meditation on intuition. Signed and numbered full-sized limited-edition prints are available at my store on my main web site. / These are best framed with round mats. Since this is a round image, the whole doesn’t translate too well on cards HERE, but if you go to my portfolio showing the detail on this piece it works much better. A number of items are for sale there. Here are some examples:

  • 16×20 acrylic on canvas This idea came to me after watching Man Vs. Wild on the Discovery Channel. The episode was basically about Bear vs. the Mangroves in I believe Tailand? (Correct me if i’m wrong though!) I always thought of the mangroves as this beautiful tropical area, and inside of them it’s really sort of gross, the bacteria filled waters, all the dead roots and animals and bugs everywhere. I was sort of grossed out. This Painting is the way that I saw the Mangroves in my own head before actually seeing them with my own eyes. These birds are all native birds to Mangroves in different regions. The Egret, Red Lory and Mangrove Pitta birds. I really like the way that it came out, and I hope you do to! 5th place in the Mother Nature and our Environment / Global Warming Effects Challenge in the First Things Group

  • Prismacolor pencils on recycled brown paper

  • Ink Pen & Winsor Newton watercolours on thick watercolour paper 5×7inches

  • a gorgeous male goldfinch sits on a branch near the niger feeder, waiting his turn at the feeder. The male goldfinch will lose his bright ye;;ow plummage in early fall, turning to a greenish-yellow feather color. Come spring, he will once again don his golden feathers. camera used is Olympus E-3

  • a male cardinal, brilliant in red, has hgis big bright eyes on the lookout for predators. Cardinals love to sit in the pine tree to check the sunflower seed feeder for safety before coming in to feed. This affords an excellent opportunity for some candid, closeup shots. I love the way the pine needles frame the cardinal, and radiate out from him.

  • Media: Vintage Fabric off-cuts, Charcoal, Pencil, Found objects, Photoshop, Illustrator.

  • This was another piece I did for a local benefit two years ago. All participating artists were given 12×12” plywood boards that we could do whatever we liked with. I took a print of my drawing Rock, Scissors, Paper / and cut it down – wrapping it entirely around the board. Then I added white painted branches and made some little leaves out of screen for embellishment. This was awarded at the exhibition to my surprise and delight. Here is what it looked like in entirety: / (Signed and numbered limited-edition prints of the original drawing are available at cynthia’s store) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • a brilliant male cardinal strikes a handsome pose as he sits on a snow covered branch in a pine tree. this is our first good snow fall in three years, and the cardinals always seem to flourish in the snow. the feeder area was abuzz, and the activity was brisk. /
