From the Carnivalesque series – a little tee (Originally only available in white – since the quality of the image was much clearer. However I’m making other colours available as an experiment. I have also used a variety of found objects, including lace and ribbons…and an especially beautiful gold paint for the wings which were underpainted first to created texture. On of my favourite paintings, my heart and soul went into this piece…two sweet little girls in darling dresses hanging out in the garden together….what could be nicer.

For those of you who may not be aware, I have Coeliac Disease and it’s literally a pain in the bum and the tummy… hence the little birdie is wearing bandaids across his tummy and weeps a little tear of sadness…. The idea is to create more awareness about Coeliac Disease with this cute owl…and I am going to donate $2 from every sale of my ‘Wheat Hurts TShirt” to the research for a cure through the Coeliac Society of NSW to which I belong. I will also donate .50c per card that is sold and $2 from any sales of prints.
