I loved making this cute little Bee Fairy:) / With the sun behind him and his pot of honey, he is simply adorable. / Humming birds and butterflies flutter around him, and an inquisitive squirrel has come for a look, and to share his nuts! / Foxgloves, grasses and smiling flowers look on as he enjoys the sunshine on his large toadstool. / This cute little Fairy would make a very cool child’s greeting card or print , especially for a nursery or playroom, or for anyone fond of cute little Fairies.

Oil on board. ORIGINAL SOLD / I tried to capture the strength and the regal quality of this amazing bird. While soaring over an updraft one Eagle will fly beneath the other and turn upside down to show its talons. They will then sometimes grasp each other’s claws and tumble over and over in what appears to be either a mating routine or perhaps just play… A privilege to watch! / I have watched them in pairs at Mount Kaputar. Legend had it that an ancient giant goldfish once ate some magic bread crumbs and grew so big and so powerful that it was able to leap from its’ pond into the skies, travelling at unbelievably high speed across the skies. However to retain its’ magical powers, this legendary goldfish had to fulfill a good deed every night. The giant goldfish had the ability to detect sincere longings of those who desire to go on a sky odyssey. Somewhere a thousand miles away, the giant goldfish heard the desperate cry of a little owl named Ophelia whose dream was to go on a sky odyssey to visit new lands and oceans. These pigeons took flight in Trafalgar Square, London, UK, when a lorry went past and honked his horn. They flew everywhere around our heads and then came back to land in the same position. The lorry driver must have laughed at the startled tourists and pigeons being caught unaware. This was taken on film and scanned to digital. I have added a layer of texture too.

Ok this was my very, very first pastel attempt. Whilst I was reluctant to share it I am now confident that I like it! I used soft pastels, (like wax crayons), on Black Canson paper. It is a loose style using heavy strokes. The laughing Kookaburra is instantly recognisable in both plumage and voice. The main purpose of this call is to let other birds know of its territories and boundaries. We have these beautiful birds visit us often where we live and they come to our fish pond hoping for a feed! Kookaburra sits in the old Gum tree / Merry Merry King of the bush is he / Laugh Kookaburra laugh Kookaburra / Gay your life must be…..... I stood out there in the cold today 12/19/09 and watched the Chickadees fly around to get the sunflower seeds and keep themselves warm. They also like suet. This little guy posed proudly with his seed in his. Canon 40D 70-300mm lens.
