One day…she looked deeper…deeper yet and knew it was time to let it go. She released her past…and watched as it flew far away from her…to it’s own future…to it’s own place wild, open and free. Having let it go…she is now free, having looked through the past and on to the future. – By Carrie Glenn You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios / In my newest piece my background is painted from Michael Gatch’s photo Through The Past His photography is bold, fresh and very original. Forgive them for they know not what they do, nor do they care. Forgive them for the insults and assumptions for they do not know our heart. Forgive them for the arrogance that they put themselves on a throne not knowing the struggles of those who just want to be a part of the same Kingdom as well. Forgive them for the superior attitude that they assume they have the right, to insult, demean, and judge. Forgive them for not thinking of the struggles that some face just to learn and create and want to belong. Forgive them for thinking we should see the world through their eyes. I pray please forgive them!!!!!!!!!!because I can not. Bye

A little something different for this photograph. Tried my hand at some Photoshop art using the colours derived from Mr Perfect’s feathers. Special thanks to nineveh for the brushes used to create my artwork. Nineveh can be found on Deviant Art website. Please check out the painted artwork of Mr Eric Shepherd whom I was priviliged enough to have immortalise Mr Perfect here

An edit of a photo i took at Cape Otway Lighthouse just of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road in Australia a few months ago on the 28th of February 2008. HDR’d in Photomatix from one RAW file . Found a pic of some birds i took at Elwood Beach a while ago and added them in Photoshop. Some tweaking was also done in Lightroom including the black and white conversion and above is the end result. The Lighthouse is just one of many beautiful attractions in the Great Otway National Park. CAPE Otway Lightstation is the oldest, surviving lighthouse in mainland Australia. The light, which has been in continuous operation since 1848, is perched on towering sea cliffs where Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean collide. For thousands of immigrants, after many months at sea, Cape Otway was their first sight of land after leaving Europe. For those interested this is the original image: Click here for my other images of Victoria This is what it would look like as a medium mounted print with my details:

This design was created using photoshop. I no longer own the right to it as it was bought by the __ company to be sold on their tees. I am not disclosing the name of the company yet, as the tee is not up for sale yet :)

This was a photo I had taken over on Merritt Island, Florida of an Osprey. These are amazing and beautiful birds of prey!! The sky that day was very cloudy and washed out but it couldn’t dampen my enthusiasm for being able to see these magnificent birds in their natural habitat!! So I’ve taken the original shot and blended it onto another photo I had taken of a storm rolling in off the ocean as the sun was setting with Adobe PhotoShop. Best viewed enlarged. /

100% photoshop – NOT A PHOTO. But I did try to make it look as real as possible. This is what the sky looked like as I was driving home last night. It was so beautiful.
