She gave each of them a big, big hug after and thanked them for making this the best birthday ever. / “Er, just before I do go home, how did you know it was my birthday anyway?” / “You could say a little bird told us.” The bear said gently and they all began to laugh…read more You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios* /

Featured in Surrealism / (Thanks Hop Helen and Marison ) Featured in All Things Poetic, Prose, Philosophical / (Thanks Susan) Featured in Northwest Artists / (Thanks EllieWinds) Featured in The Healing Journey / (Thanks Julie) Mixed Media on Canvas She looked through to her past, remembering, contemplating, holding it close to her. One day…she looked deeper…deeper yet and knew it was time to let it go. She released her past…and watched as it flew far away from her…to it’s own future…to it’s own place wild, open and free. Having let it go…she is now free, having looked through the past and on to the future. – By Carrie Glenn You can contact Carrie at: carrie@carrieglennstudios.com and please visit Carrie Glenn Studios / In my newest piece my background is painted from Michael Gatch’s photo Through The Past His photography is bold, fresh and very original. The last things I painted in 2007. / / Watercolour, chalk pastel, ink pen and silver leaf. I got this paint flicker thing a few months back and have been splattering test canvases, this is the first time I’ve used it in a finished piece. Fun fun! / / This one I’ve called ‘found’, though that’s not necessarily what’s happening. / Each of these creatures could be considered ‘mistrustful’ perhaps. How did they come to have a shiny crown? Did they find them? Steal them? Maybe the crowns always belonged to them. / / These are actually 3 separate canvases, making up a set. I’ve combined them into one image for RB. / / / / / / / / This one shows the shiny silver crown… / /
