I have been trying for ages to get a shot of the pigeons in flight, today, i was rewarded. I just happened to be there when the fanciers turned up and proceeded to let them go. As i have said before, the fanciers in Spain colour the wings and tails with some sort of dye. Oliva, Spain. Kodak Easyshare C653. 15/1/09.

The wind was blowing so hard as the storm approached. My wife was feeding the seagulls and they were just hovering over us. Made for some really neat shots with the Great Salt Lake and the storm in the background.
This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. 2,517 views & 79 Favs – Thank You! / Other hummingbird photos: / /

Cape Schanck, Victoria, Australia Sitting on the balcony, reading a book, I looked up and noticed a crow had perched itself on the television antenna on the roof. I sprinted in, got the camera and took about 80 shots of the bird, and a few of his friends, as they came into frame and landed too. It took me a while to work out what to do with the shots, and this is the end result of a few solid hours of post processing. Crows have a strange effect on me, they can calm me and make me feel a bit uneasy at the same time. Thanks for your help George Lenz / Layers and blends used in PhotoShop… / By using Photoshop, I used 4 different layers here to configure this piece. A female Rufeous Hummingbird hovering over a Red Hot Poker while bather in the golden light of the setting sun. I like this image because it is the only one I have ever taken where the hummer turned and made eye contract with the camera.
