While camping a group of sparrows stopped by for some bread. The one on the left is not of the same breed, I think, because it is still a baby, being fed in the photo, but is larger than the male and female of this species. I don’t know my birds very well so hopefully I am accurate. Anyway, loved watching the little bird running aorund, chasing the others, asking for food. They all contributed to her feeding.

It’s not that far away, the nights grow cooler and the smell of falling leaves is in the air. This cuddly Tanager is just hanging out with the Harrier here in my composite from the Bear River National Wildlife Refuge about 6 miles down the road from me ;-)
